Founded in 2000, Audax Private Debt delivers tailored financing solutions to middle market businesses. We have cultivated deep, long-term relationships with leading private equity firms, banks, and other agents, and have established ourselves as a leading and scale investor in the middle market.
We offer thoughtful first lien, stretch senior, unitranche, second lien and subordinated debt, as well as equity co-investment solutions that provide financing certainty, add-on investment capability, and a collaborative approach to working with our portfolio companies. We have an established track record of supporting private equity firms in successfully acquiring and growing businesses.
Our platform offers investors access to these solutions through multiple vehicles including commingled funds, tax-efficient structures, and separately managed accounts. We have designed these vehicles to meet specific requirements depending on investors’ appetite for leverage, asset allocation, and risk adjusted returns.
Unitranche
We seek to lead single-tranche solutions, typically in the form of unitranche and stretch senior loans, and also co-invest in equity securities. We originate our financing opportunities by working directly with leading financial sponsors throughout North America.
